According to the financial sector on the 14th, a total of 10 banks, including the five major banks (Kookmin, Shinhan, Hana, Woori, NongHyup) and regional banks, will operate mobile and flexible branches during the holiday period.
NongHyup Bank will operate a mobile branch at the Hanam Dream Rest Area on the Jungbu Expressway on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. They will operate ATMs and provide new bill exchanges to assist customers with urgent financial transactions.
Shinhan Bank will operate at the Hwaseong Rest Area (downbound) on the Seohaean Expressway on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
In addition, Shinhan Bank will provide currency exchange services from the 15th to the 18th at Kangwon Land Casino, Gimpo Airport, and Cheongju Airport.
Woori Bank will operate at the Manghyang Rest Area (Busan direction) on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. ATM use and new bill exchange are available.
Woori Bank also offers currency exchange services at airports during the holiday period for customers traveling abroad. They operate at the Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and Terminal 2 currency exchange counters from the 14th to the 18th. One location operates 24 hours, while the others operate from 6 a.m. to 10 p.m.
Hana Bank will operate ATM and new bill exchange services at the Yangjae Mannam Plaza Rest Area (downbound) on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Hana Bank also provides currency exchange services year-round at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 currency exchange counters. The operating hours are from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Kookmin Bank will operate ATM and new bill exchange services at the Giheung Rest Area (downbound on Gyeongbu Expressway) on the 13th from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Like Hana Bank, Kookmin Bank also offers 24-hour currency exchange services year-round at Incheon International Airport Terminal 1 and 2 currency exchange counters.
In addition, Industrial Bank of Korea will operate ATM and new bill exchange services at the Deokpyeong Rest Area (Gangneung direction) on the 13th from 12 p.m. to 6 p.m.
iM Bank will operate new bill exchange and ATM services at Dongmyeong Rest Area (Chuncheon direction) on the 13th and 14th from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Also, iM Bank will provide foreign currency exchange and ATM services at the Daegu International Airport branch from the 14th to the 18th.
Busan Bank and Gyeongnam Bank will provide new bill exchange services on the 13th and 14th. Busan Bank will operate at Jinyeong Rest Area (Suncheon direction), and Gyeongnam Bank will operate at Changwon Central Station. Their operating hours are from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and 9 a.m. to 4 p.m., respectively.
Gwangju Bank will also provide new bill exchange services at the Yeonggwang Sangsa Flower Festival (around Bulgapsa Tourist Site in Yeonggwang County) from the 13th to the 18th. The service is available from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
