Coupons for Convenience Stores and Overseas Remittances Given to 2,000 Foreigners from 16 Countries Including Cambodia
Jeonbuk Bank (President Baek Jong-il) is holding a 'Loan Limit Inquiry Event' for foreign customers in collaboration with the foreign remittance platform 'Hanpass' until the end of October.
This event is a joint marketing effort combining Jeonbuk Bank's expertise in handling financial products for foreigners, such as the 'JB Bravo Korea Loan Product,' with Hanpass's competitive overseas remittance platform.
Customers who click on the Jeonbuk Bank banner in the Hanpass mobile app and inquire about their loan limit will receive ▲ a 5,000 KRW CU mobile coupon ▲ two overseas remittance coupons, provided respectively by both companies.
Participation in the event is automatic upon conducting a non-face-to-face loan limit inquiry via the Jeonbuk Bank JB Bravo Korea Loan Product banner in the Hanpass app. Foreign workers who have obtained visas meeting the eligibility criteria from a total of 16 countries, including Cambodia and Nepal, can apply possible.
Jeonbuk Bank is the first in the banking sector to provide convenient and secure digital financial services optimized for non-face-to-face loan execution and electronic financial subscription services for foreign customers.
Deputy President Jung Sang-hoon said, "We provide differentiated digital services through joint marketing with Hanpass, which has a solid customer base," adding, "We plan to strengthen our foundation as a comprehensive financial institution for foreigners going forward."
Meanwhile, Jeonbuk Bank is contributing to relatively financially vulnerable groups by aiming to provide comprehensive financial services to foreign customers through a mobile platform dedicated to foreigners.
To improve foreign workers' access to formal financial services, since December 2016, Jeonbuk Bank has launched the 'JB Bravo Korea Package' product and is recognized in the industry as a leader in expanding inclusive finance for foreigners.
