'Do not grant every request just because it is made; let us lead a culture of integrity through actions with decency.'

The Busan Regional Headquarters of the Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency (Director: Gong Heungdoo) held an internal 'Integrity Acrostic Poem Contest' to inspire employees' awareness of integrity and to spread a culture of practicing integrity in celebration of Integrity and Ethics Emphasis Week (September 2-13, 2024).

The Korea Occupational Safety and Health Agency operates Integrity and Ethics Emphasis Week every year from late August to early September to raise employees' awareness of integrity and to promote a culture of integrity.

For the Integrity Acrostic Poem Contest, each department at the Busan Regional Headquarters freely selected words related to integrity (such as integrity, ethics, conscience, etc.) and created acrostic poems. The best entries from each department were then voted on by all employees to select outstanding works.

A total of more than 20 departmental representative poems were submitted, and the grand prize went to the Industrial Health Center for their two-line acrostic poem on 'integrity.'

Director Gong Heungdoo commented, "Through the Integrity Acrostic Poem Contest, I was able to witness our employees' high level of integrity and wit. Integrity is inseparable from public institution employees and must always come first in carrying out our duties. I reaffirm my commitment to conducting industrial accident prevention projects with integrity and transparency."
