Kyongnam Bank Shares Empathy Post: "A Leaf Quietly Falls Beside Me, Thank You, Truly Such Things Are Worth Appreciating"

BNK Gyeongnam Bank announced on the 12th that it has displayed its seventh Empathy Message Board, which contains a message of hope, on the exterior wall of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank headquarters so that customers and local residents can easily see it.

Posted the "Seventh Empathy Bulletin Board" Containing a Message of Hope.

This Empathy Message Board, themed around autumn, features the phrase, "A single leaf quietly falls beside me. Thank you. Truly, it is things like this that are worth being thankful for," along with an illustration of a park scene with red fallen leaves.

The message on the Empathy Message Board is an excerpt from the poem "Quiet Things" by poet Kim Sa-in (born 1956).

The intention is to remind people to cherish and be grateful for the small and trivial things in everyday life, just as ordinary scenes we often overlook can sometimes bring comfort.

Choi Daesik, Head of the Social Contribution and PR Department, said, "Through this Empathy Message Board, we hope to convey a message of hope encouraging everyone to cherish and be grateful for not only the small things around us but also the people we live with. With Chuseok approaching, I hope people will express their gratitude to their beloved family and friends."

The operation of the BNK Gyeongnam Bank Empathy Message Board was planned as part of Bank President Yeh Kyungtak's idea for a "warm bank filled with fragrance," aiming to deliver messages of hope and foster cultural sensitivity among local residents and the community.

Since April last year, the bank has displayed Empathy Message Boards every quarter, featuring messages of hope and themes related to the seasons.

The first Empathy Message Board featured the phrase, "Crossing the stream, over the hill, to the village, my path is always a new one," delivering encouragement to overcome difficult times and a message of excitement and determination for new beginnings.
