Dong-gu, Daejeon announced on the 12th that it has completed the Heungjinnuri-gil trail project, which was promoted as a resident support project in the Green Belt area.

The Heungjinnuri-gil is an eco-friendly trail located in Heungjin Village, Daecheong-dong, connecting Heungjin Hanteo through Tokkibong to Hoenam-ro Nuri-gil. The 1.2km trail consists of a 479m deck path and a 764m mat path.

The district was selected for the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure and Transport's Green Belt Resident Support Project and completed the construction with a total budget of 1 billion KRW, including 900 million KRW in national funding.

Through this project, the district expects to improve the living environment in Daecheong-dong, where convenience and leisure facilities are lacking, and to provide residents and visitors with a beautiful and safe walking environment by linking it with the Obaekri-gil course.

Park Heejo, Mayor of Dong-gu, said, "As the number of tourists visiting Daecheongho increases every year, we will not only promote projects to enhance visitor convenience, but also thoroughly inspect and improve the surrounding area to prevent any safety accidents."
