Jongno-gu, Seoul (District Mayor Jeong Munheon) announced on the 12th that starting from October 1st, the parking lot attached to Chowon Church in Changsin-dong will be opened free of charge to residents to alleviate local parking difficulties.
According to the agreement with Chowon Church, the parking lot will be available free of charge to nearby residents and visitors from Monday to Saturday (7 a.m. to 9 p.m.). It will not be open on Sundays.
The district signed a business agreement with Chowon Church (Senior Pastor Choi Yuntae) on the 2nd and agreed to support facility improvements necessary for opening the parking lot.
In addition to Chowon Church, Jongno-gu is working to provide convenience to residents by opening a total of 20 parking spaces with 354 spots in cooperation with Korea National Open University, Hongik University Daehakro Campus, Pyeongdong Church, and Sungin Shopping Apartment, among others.
District Mayor Jeong Munheon expressed gratitude to Chowon Church for participating in the parking lot opening and stated, “We will continue to promote the opening of attached parking lots in cooperation with public institutions and private facilities in the district.”
