Dolce & Gabbana Beauty Opens 2nd Store at Galleria Luxury Hall

Brand Sales Increased by 50% Month-on-Month After Opening of First Store

Shinsegae International announced on the 12th that it will expand the business of the Italian beauty brand Dolce&Gabbana Beauty. The plan is to increase both brand awareness and market share by opening new stores and expanding distribution channels and product lines.


Dolce&Gabbana Beauty is the cosmetics brand of the Italian luxury fashion house Dolce&Gabbana. In Korea, Shinsegae International has been the official importer and distributor since September last year.

On the same day, Shinsegae International opened a second store at the Galleria Department Store Luxury Hall WEST in Apgujeong, Gangnam-gu, Seoul. This location will primarily feature makeup products.


Previously, Dolce&Gabbana Beauty opened its first exclusive department store shop at Lotte Department Store Jamsil branch on the 20th of last month. During the first ten days after opening, the brand’s overall sales increased by 50% compared to the same period the previous month. Newly launched makeup products received a positive response, and for the first time, color cosmetics sales surpassed fragrance sales.


At the Galleria Luxury Hall store, customers can find the entire range of Dolce&Gabbana Beauty makeup lines as well as popular fragrance lines. New products released targeting this fall, such as the 'Blueberry Nutri Tint,' 'Cheek & Eye Match Blusher,' 'I Dare You Palette,' and 'That's My Line Eyeliner,' will also be available.


Among these, the I Dare You Palette is the top-selling product at the Lotte Jamsil store. Inspired by the Dolce&Gabbana logo bag, the packaging includes a detachable keychain that can be used as a fashion accessory. It consists of 12 textures and colors, allowing for a variety of makeup looks. It is versatile for use as eyeshadow, liner, and blusher, featuring long-lasting wear, strong adhesion, smooth application, and high color payoff.


The newly launched 'Mint Oil Lip Plumper' is a lightweight, non-sticky jelly-type oil that provides excellent moisture and contains mint extract to make lips feel cool and voluminous. Other new products include the 'Bergamot Glow Primer' and 'Blueberry Nutri Tint.'


A representative from Shinsegae International’s Dolce&Gabbana Beauty said, "Customers who have experienced Dolce&Gabbana Beauty’s makeup products through offline stores show a very high purchase rate," adding, "We plan to continue discovering high-quality products that can receive a good response in the sophisticated domestic beauty market."


To celebrate the store opening, Dolce&Gabbana Beauty has prepared a customer appreciation event. Customers who add Dolce&Gabbana Beauty as a friend on KakaoTalk and visit the store will receive fragrance samples, and gifts will be given according to purchase amounts.
