Ulsan Dongheon, Live Musical 'Ulsan Imjinwaeran'
Performances and Traditional Games at Ulsan Museum and Grand Park
During the Chuseok holiday, various events will be held at cultural and tourist attractions in Ulsan, inviting both citizens and visitors.
From September 14 to 18, the live-action musical "Ulsan Imjinwaeran" will be performed at Ulsan Dongheon. At the Ulsan Culture and Arts Center, an invitational exhibition of Korean mouth and foot painting artists will be held until September 17.
During the holiday period, Ulsan Museum and Ulsan Grand Park will host Chuseok folk game events, while the Whale Culture Special Zone will feature unique performances, traditional games, and fireworks shows.
All eight tourist information centers throughout Ulsan will operate as usual to serve returning visitors and tourists.
Tourist taxis and the "Ukation" program, which allows you to work and travel in Ulsan, will also be available on Chuseok day for those with prior reservations.
Additionally, accommodation coupons and discounts are available through the "2024 Korea Accommodation Sale Festa," which coincides with the Chuseok holiday.
However, the Ulsan Bridge Observatory, Daewangam Park, Sori Experience Center, Onggi Museum, Yeongnam Alps Complex Welcome Center, and Ulsan Arboretum will be closed on Chuseok day. The Ulsan Safety Experience Center and City Tour will be closed throughout the Chuseok holiday period.
An Ulsan city official stated, "We will do our best to ensure that many people enjoy a variety of events during the Chuseok holiday and fully experience the charm of beautiful Ulsan, including Taehwagang National Garden, Jangsaengpo Whale Culture Special Zone, Yeongnam Alps, and Daewangam Park."
