From 12 PM to 5 PM on the 21st at Gwanak Cheongnyeoncheong... Solve Job Seekers' Career and Employment Concerns at Once
Global and Large Companies Including Samsung Electronics, SK Innovation, LG Household & Health Care, Amorepacific, KT, and More Participate in Large Numbers
Gwanak-gu (Mayor Park Junhee) will hold the "Gwanak Youth Employment Mentoring Concert with Current Employees of Global and Domestic Large Corporations" at the Gwanak Youth Center on the 21st, providing support for youth employment.
The district planned this event to offer an opportunity for local youth to meet current employees who know the stories of companies and workplaces better than anyone else, ask questions they have been curious about, share various employment concerns, and obtain employment information about companies in their fields of interest.
This event will feature a large number of current employees from about 10 major companies and global corporations working in various fields, including ▲Samsung Electronics ▲SK ▲LG ▲Amorepacific ▲KT.
In the first part of the concert, ▲1:1 resume and self-introduction letter review ▲personal career consulting ▲personal color diagnosis program will be conducted.
In the second part, ▲employment special lecture by a Samsung Electronics mentor ▲public mock interviews ▲panel discussion Q&A ▲small group mentoring with a selected mentor upon prior application will take place.
The "Gwanak-gu Youth Employment Mentoring Concert" is open to any youth interested in career paths and employment. Participation is possible through online pre-registration (QR code on promotional materials) or on-site registration.
The district expects that through this event, young people will be able to share and resolve various employment concerns and stories they usually have with current employee mentors and participants, and have a time of mutual understanding.
Meanwhile, the district operates various projects to solve youth employment issues, with the representative program being the "Employment Mentoring with Current Employees of Samsung Electronics," which has received great responses from local youth.
In November, a comprehensive employment support program is scheduled to be conducted. Detailed information can be found on the Gwanak-gu Office website.
Mayor Park Junhee said, "It is unfortunate that many young people are struggling with employment and giving up due to the recent economic downturn. I hope many Gwanak-gu youth participate in the employment mentoring concert, gain much help in preparing for employment, and achieve their dreams." He added, "As a leading youth-friendly city in Korea, Gwanak will continue to make every effort to implement various policies that help local youth."
