Employees of the Child and Youth Division at Yangju City Hall created an "Integrity Practice List (I.A.L.)" that each person can implement to promote a culture of integrity within the organization. Yangju City, Gyeonggi Province (Mayor Kang Suhyeon) announced on the 11th that on the 10th, employees of the Child and Youth Division at City Hall created an 'Integrity Action List (I.A.L.)' that each person can practice to promote a culture of integrity within the organization.
The 'Integrity Action List (I.A.L.)' is an acronym for Integrity, Action, List, and was created by the Child and Youth Division to practice integrity.
On that day, after conducting a survey on the integrity action items that could be practiced, the employees wrote their own 'Integrity Action List' to implement, and agreed to share their individual cases of practice on the next quarter's 'Integrity Flex Day.'
The survey results included △ appropriate claims for business trip expenses △ proper receipt of overtime pay △ punctual arrival and departure △ speaking kindly to clients and colleagues, with the most selected virtue of integrity being appropriate claims for business trip expenses.
A city official stated, "By creating the Integrity Action List (I.A.L.), it provides an opportunity to concretely think about virtues that can be practiced regarding integrity," and added, "Let us strengthen our commitment to integrity and strive even harder to improve the integrity level of Yangju City."
Meanwhile, 'Integrity Flex' is a policy project promoted quarterly by the Child and Youth Division to share integrity cases among department members to enhance integrity.
