Phoenix Park, Fall Sale Festa, and More
Here are the latest news and new products from the travel and leisure industry as of the 11th. Hana Tour is offering products for consumers who revisit their preferred travel destinations. Modetour announced that overseas travel bookings for the week increased by more than 40% compared to the previous week due to the designation of a temporary holiday on the 1st of next month. Phoenix Park has launched a product that allows visitors to fully enjoy the local autumn scenery in line with the Hyoseok Cultural Festival, a representative festival of Pyeongchang-gun, Gangwon Province. You can also find discount benefits provided through a partnership between Kyowon Tour Travel Easy and the mobility platform Socar.
Hana Tour Launches 'Nth Trip' Promotion Targeting Repeat Travelers
Hana Tour announced that it will launch the 'Nth Trip' promotion, which combines both popularity and freshness, following the travel trend of revisiting preferred countries. The Nth Trip is a product designed for those who want to revisit previously visited destinations with a new itinerary. It combines best-selling products with unique elements not seen before. Last month, Hana Tour held an event titled 'Nth Place Visited? You Have to Go N Times' to identify repeat travel destinations among its members. Analyzing about 2,000 comments, the most desired repeat destinations were Japan (28%), Vietnam (11%), Thailand (7%), and France (7%). The top reason for preference was environmental factors such as nature, architecture, and culture, accounting for 36%. This was followed by personal factors (31%), experiential factors (11%), and culinary factors (8%). In fact, among customers who visited Japan in the past two years, 47% traveled to Japan again this year. Repeat visit rates for Europe, Vietnam, and Thailand were 24%, 23%, and 17%, respectively. Hana Tour structured its Japan products around small cities such as Takamatsu, Matsuyama, Alpen Route, and Toyama, allowing travelers to fully experience local charm beyond major cities. For Vietnam, instead of the well-known Da Nang and Nha Trang, they planned products for the hidden gem, the Sapa region. The Thailand itinerary includes cooking classes reflecting culinary elements, and Europe offers visits to Andorra, Monaco, and the South of France, emphasizing environmental factors.
Modetour Reports 45% Increase in October Golden Holiday Bookings Following Temporary Holiday Designation
Modetour announced that overseas travel bookings departing during the golden holiday period (September 28 to October 6) increased by 45% compared to the previous week following the recent announcement of a temporary holiday designation. According to Modetour's own data analysis, the most popular travel destinations during the bridge golden holiday period from late September to early October were Southeast Asia (43%), followed by Japan (19%), China (18%), and Europe (10%). The region with the largest increase compared to the previous week after the temporary holiday announcement was Japan, with a 65% rise. Notably, China saw a 240% increase compared to the previous year, continuing the upward trend that began in the second half of last year. Modetour is focusing on capturing demand through the 'Autumn Golden Holiday' promotion launched last week, which includes early bird discounts and abundant benefits.
To Bongpyeong, the Home of Buckwheat Flowers... Phoenix Park's Autumn Sale Festa
Phoenix Park announced the launch of the 'Phoenix Autumn Sale Festa,' allowing visitors to fully enjoy the autumn in Pyeongchang, where buckwheat flowers are in full bloom. The product includes renewed Sky rooms, breakfast buffet at the Ondo restaurant, access to the Blue Canyon Water Park open year-round, and a choice of admission to either the indoor air bounce playground 'Imagination Playground' or Luge Land. Located in Bongpyeong, the home of buckwheat flowers, Phoenix Park annually cultivates a buckwheat flower field at Mont Blanc, the ski slope summit at an altitude of 1,050 meters, during the winter season. The buckwheat flowers, which began blooming at the end of last month, are now in full bloom, creating a spectacular view. Visitors can take a tourist gondola to the Mont Blanc summit. Guests staying at Phoenix Park can enter the buckwheat field photo zone and the Hanji craft exhibition free of charge during the Hyoseok Cultural Festival, which runs until the 15th. A free shuttle bus operates between Pyeongchang Station, Hyoseok Cultural Village, and Phoenix Park.
