Busan Port Authority (BPA, President Kang Junseok) conducted a special inspection of construction sites, personally overseen by Construction Headquarters Director Lee Sangkwon, to strengthen safety management and prevent wage arrears ahead of the Chuseok holiday.

The inspection covered the construction site of the Phase 2 hinterland development project at Busan New Port North Container and the expansion project at Gamcheon Port General Wharf (areas near Berths 3 and 4), where safety measures were checked and efforts were made to ensure that subcontractor payments and workers' wages are paid on time.
In addition, holiday gifts, including cooling sleeves, were distributed to over 160 outdoor workers at the construction sites.
BPA Construction Headquarters Director Lee Sangkwon stated, "Ahead of Chuseok, we will make every effort to ensure the safety of construction sites and prevent wage arrears so that workers can enjoy the holiday with their families."
