HS Hyosung, which separated and became independent from the Hyosung Group, unveiled a new corporate identity (CI) symbolizing stars and trees on the 11th.
The new CI, named 'Masteria,' is designed in the shape and colors of a square star symbolizing the star that leads the world and the Value Tree. It represents a connection between HS Hyosung's past, present, and future, incorporating the philosophy of the group’s founders and the vision of the first management team of the newly launched HS Hyosung.
Cho Hyun-sang, Vice Chairman of HS Hyosung, urged, "HS Hyosung will inherit the philosophy of industrial nation-building emphasized by our founding chairman predecessors, who aimed to build the country through industry, and the 60-year history of Hyosung. At the same time, we will open a horizon of challenges that maximizes the happiness of all stakeholders through diverse value creation for humanity and principled management."
HS Hyosung emphasized its will to lead the world to a better place through the CI, which carries the meaning of the 'morning star' embedded in the mission of 'Hyosung' as the star that leads the world.
It also explained that the CI embodies the meaning of the Value Tree, symbolizing strong vitality, endurance, growth, and coexistence through continuous value creation. Like a strong tree firmly rooted in the ground for many years, providing various values to humanity and serving as a sanctuary, HS Hyosung is determined to continuously create value and grow into a righteous and healthy giant tree.
Additionally, a new font style called 'HS Typeface' was applied. HS Hyosung introduced signature colors: 'HS Blue,' 'HS Green,' and 'HS Orange.' HS Blue symbolizes excellence, innovation, and intelligence; HS Green represents responsibility, trust, respect, and cooperation; and HS Orange stands for pride, passion, and happiness.
Along with the new CI, HS Hyosung presented its vision: "We create value that enriches humanity by harnessing the power of science, technology, and collective intelligence."
HS Hyosung explained, "This means opening new opportunities and achieving innovation by leveraging the power of science, technology, and collective intelligence, going beyond simply providing products or services to delivering true value to customers and society, thereby making human life richer and happier."
This vision stems from Vice Chairman Cho’s usual management philosophy of 'value management.' Value management refers to maximizing and optimizing the values of various stakeholders surrounding the company, including customers, shareholders, employees, partners, and society.
HS Hyosung formalized this meaning into the slogan 'Value, Together Again.' Proposed by Vice Chairman Cho, it was introduced as a slogan at the June town hall meeting with the statement, "We will make value our top DNA and pursue value management."
Meanwhile, several affiliates under the HS Hyosung Group, including HS Hyosung Advanced Materials?which changed its name through an extraordinary general meeting on the 6th?HS Hyosung Information Systems, HS Hyosung Holdings USA, HS Hyosung Global Logistics Vina, HS Hyosung The Class, and HS Hyosung Toyota, are expected to change their names within the second half of the year following their respective shareholders’ meetings.
