Goryeong-gun Holds Walking Event on Dasan-myeon Jwahak Park Barefoot Trail

Commemorating the Creation of a Barefoot Trail at Jwahak Neighborhood Park

Goryeong County (County Governor Lee Namcheol) held a commemorative barefoot walking event at Jwahak Neighborhood Park in Dasan-myeon on the 10th, with over 200 local organization leaders and residents in attendance.

Goryeong County is holding a walking event on the 'Dasan-myeon Jawhak Park Barefoot Path.'

As interest grows in the benefits of barefoot walking for improving blood circulation and preventing adult diseases, the opportunity to walk barefoot received a positive response from participants.

The barefoot trail in Jwahak Park stretches for a total of 770 meters and features not only red clay, sand, and decomposed granite paths, but also additional experience facilities such as a zeolite ball path and an acupressure road, allowing for a variety of walking experiences.

Lee Namcheol, Governor of Goryeong County, said, "I would like to thank the residents who patiently endured the inconvenience until completion, as well as the construction staff who worked hard in the heat. I expect that the newly created barefoot trail will become a local landmark that offers relaxation, healing, health, and vitality, and will be a space where people can enjoy a healthy and happy life."
