The Naju City Forestry Cooperative recently announced that it held a forest management consulting event by visiting Geumseong Farm in the area to commemorate 'Forest Management Leaders Day.'

Geumseong Farm, visited by five forest management instructors belonging to the Naju City Forestry Cooperative, is the largest tree market in the central region of Jeollanam-do, selling ornamental trees, fruit trees, and flowers.

The farm spans approximately 100,000 pyeong (about 330,000 square meters) and is equipped with four greenhouses and one management office. It is well-known as a representative farm in Jeonnam, selling about 300 species including landscaping trees and fruit trees.

The forest management instructors who visited here engaged in in-depth discussions on cultivation methods and distribution methods of landscaping and fruit tree seedlings. In particular, they demonstrated effective root balling techniques during tree digging, which is crucial for increasing the survival rate of landscaping trees.

Additionally, they promoted forestry business registration and the forestry direct payment system to Naju citizens visiting the tree market, and provided forest management consulting, receiving positive responses.
