Marking its 100th anniversary this year, the IFA fair is classified as one of the world’s top three international IT and electronics exhibitions.
To showcase its massage technology, Bodyfriend participated in this exhibition with a display space centered on its flagship healthcare robots equipped with innovative technologies such as ‘Pharaoh Neo’ and ‘Quantum,’ in line with the theme of ‘Presenting a Digital Healthcare Vision.’ Additionally, reflecting recent interior design trends, it exhibited the massage sofa ‘Famille,’ which features a compact size and design suitable for one- to two-person households. Combining pre-events and the main event, the total number of visitors to the Bodyfriend booth during the exhibition period was approximately 5,000.
Kim Chang-joo, Head of Bodyfriend’s Americas and Europe division, said, “Through continuous participation in CES (Consumer Electronics Show), Bodyfriend has been increasing brand awareness in the global market. This year, we participated in IFA to further promote our uniquely advanced healthcare robot products and actively explore overseas sales channels. Seeing the enthusiastic response at IFA, we believe we can accelerate the pace of signing technology export licensing agreements with global massage chair manufacturers.”
Meanwhile, Bodyfriend’s R&D expenses amounted to 21.2 billion KRW last year, accounting for 5.1% of its sales. As of June 30, the company filed a total of 1,806 patents, utility models, and designs domestically and internationally, of which 838 have been registered.
