For Public and Private Kindergartens, Police, and District Officials
Busan Seobu Office of Education (Superintendent Lee Jaehan) will hold an "Child Abuse Prevention Education for Affiliated Institutions' Council on Kindergarten Child Abuse Prevention" online via ZOOM at 2:30 PM on the 12th.
About 70 participants are expected to attend the session, including child abuse prevention officers (principals and vice principals) from local public and private kindergartens, as well as child abuse officials from police stations and district offices.
During the education, Kim Kyungmi, CEO of "Empathy and Growth," will give a lecture on understanding laws related to child abuse, case studies, and response methods.
Lee Jaehan, Superintendent of Seobu Office of Education, said, "This training will greatly help council members enhance their sensitivity to child abuse prevention and children's rights. The Office of Education will continue to work closely with related institutions to support a happy and safe kindergarten life for young children."
Seobu Office of Education is making every effort to prevent child abuse, having discussed the 2024 council operation plan, roles of each institution, and effective response and cooperation measures during the first half council meeting held last April.
