Drone Show Featuring 1,500 Drones to Be Held at Gohung Nokdong Port During Chuseok Holiday

From the 14th, every evening at 9 PM for 4 days
Fireworks shows on the 15th and 17th too

Goheung-gun, Jeollanam-do (Governor Gong Young-min) will hold a special drone show performance at Nokdong Port to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.

Starting on the 14th with a performance themed "Family Propose," the show will run every evening at 9 PM at Nokdong Port for four days until the 17th, featuring between 700 and up to 1,500 drones.

Content that anyone can relate to and enjoy, such as "The Spirit and Elegance of Korea" and "Memory Trip," has been planned, and on the 15th and 17th, a maritime fireworks show will also be held.

Additionally, before the drone show performance, a space for traditional folk games like Jegichagi and Gulleongsoe, as well as an RC car driving experience, will be set up in the Nokdong Sea Garden to provide various attractions and entertainment.

The county plans to strengthen safety management by expanding safety zones and deploying more than 50 safety personnel in anticipation of large crowds.

Governor Gong Young-min said, "We have prepared a special performance to offer joyful memories to both returning visitors and residents visiting their hometowns for the holiday," adding, "We hope everyone enjoys the drone show and spends a prosperous time with their families."

Meanwhile, Goheung-gun has been operating a regular drone show every Saturday since April to enhance its image as a drone-centered city and to revitalize nighttime tourism. Starting in October, the performance time will be moved up by one hour to 8 PM, considering sunset time.
