A 'Integrity' Party Held... Korea Workers' Compensation and Welfare Service Hosts Cheongoreum Festival 'Properly'

"Integrity, Let's Create a Just World" Corporation Communication Event

Have you ever seen a festival that makes integrity its main content?

The Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service (President Park Jonggil) is holding the Cheong-Oreum Festival to enhance understanding of the value of integrity and foster a culture of open communication and integrity within the organization.

The Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service announced that it will host ‘All-BARO’, an event in which all executives and employees participate, from the 9th to October 31st.

The Cheong-Oreum Festival, held every two years, has been renamed ‘all-BARO’ to reflect its new name, ‘All-BARO’, chosen through a staff contest. To encourage greater participation, the event will be held online in a non-face-to-face format.

The festival will feature a variety of activities based on 16 integrity-related keywords suggested by employees (such as fairness, trust, communication, personal information protection, abuse of authority, etc.), including the All-BARO Writing Contest (acrostic poems, compliment postcards), All-BARO Competition (integrity BI and slogan), and All-BARO Promotion Challenge (integrity activity certification challenge), aiming to showcase employees’ talents.

Kim Daewon, Standing Auditor, said, “Integrity must be established as an organizational culture through employee participation in order to ensure sustainability and to strengthen the fundamentals of public service, so that honest and fair services can be provided to our customers. We will continue to put in our best efforts.”

The Korea Workers’ Compensation and Welfare Service is committed to building a culture of integrity together with its employees, operating Integrity & Anti-Corruption 1.0 Day with participation from all branches and staff nationwide, and creating the integrity character ‘Baro’ to raise awareness of integrity.

All-BARO is a name that captures the meaning of integrity as ‘doing the right thing’ and encourages everyone to reflect on the true meaning of integrity. The organization’s integrity character, Baro, was selected through a staff contest and symbolizes correcting (BARO) all (all) acts that lack integrity.
