Cheonan Sports Council Presents Local Sports Vision to University Students

Four Universities in Cheonan Hold the 2024 Cheonan Sports Development Forum

The Cheonan City Sports Council held a forum for the development of sports in Cheonan with the student councils of sports-related departments from four universities in the Cheonan area.

The Cheonan City Sports Council in Chungnam held a forum for the development of sports in Cheonan, together with the student councils of four local universities' sports-related departments.

The forum, held at Sangmyung University on the 9th, was organized to share a vision for local sports with students from sports-related departments in the region, and to introduce various job roles in the sports industry, thereby helping students gain a better understanding of the positions that suit them.

The forum proceeded in the following order: introduction of the Cheonan City Sports Council, understanding of local sports councils, characteristics and structure of the sports industry, introduction of major sports-related job roles, and methods and importance of preparing for job experience.

Chairman Han Namgyo stated, "For the development of local sports, we need fresh ideas and future-oriented sports policies rather than remaining stagnant," adding, "We will continue to provide opportunities to share opinions with local students and build a unique vision for Cheonan sports."
