Sancheong County Allocates 672.1 Billion Won in 2nd Supplementary Budget ... Focus on Key Projects

Sancheong County in Gyeongnam Province announced on the 10th that the 2024 2nd supplementary revised budget (hereinafter referred to as the supplementary budget) has been finalized at 672.1 billion KRW after being approved by the Sancheong County Council.


This supplementary budget amounts to 672.1 billion KRW, an increase of 12.3 billion KRW compared to the first supplementary budget, with 624 billion KRW allocated to the general account and 48.1 billion KRW to the special account.

In particular, the budget focused on projects that residents can directly feel, such as reflecting national and provincial subsidy projects following Gyeongnam Province's supplementary budget, and projects aimed at quickly resolving suggestions made by residents during on-site visits.


Main projects include: ▲Provision of supplies to senior centers ▲Installation of safety devices on daycare center shuttle vehicles ▲Compensation for the capture of harmful wild animals ▲Support for the installation of neighborhood recycling yards ▲Improvement of the access road to Hwangmaesan ▲Installation of automatic brine spraying devices ▲Improvement of the village resident protection zone in Saengcho Eoseo Hachon District ▲Replacement of old water pipes in Gwanjeong Village ▲Creation of a barefoot walking trail along the riverside promenade ▲Support for the improvement of excellent honeybee breeds ▲Subsidies for shipping costs of Sanen Cheong shopping mall products ▲Support for recovery from sunlight damage, among others.


County Governor Lee Seunghwa stated, "This supplementary budget focuses on improving the welfare and increasing the income of county residents," and added, "We have ensured the continuity of key projects and actively reflected the opinions of residents gathered during recent on-site visits in the supplementary budget."
