Pino Signs MOU with L&F for NCM Precursor Supply... "First Achievement in Secondary Battery Business"

Pino (formerly SkyMoon Technology) announced on the 9th that it has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with L&F, a leading domestic secondary battery cathode material manufacturer, to supply nickel, cobalt, and manganese (NCM) precursors. This is the first achievement in building a supply chain after launching new businesses related to secondary batteries.

Under this agreement, Pino will supply L&F with approximately 60,000 tons of NCM precursors from 2025 to 2028. Supply will begin next year and gradually increase in volume. The supply price will be determined later, considering product processing fees, prices of non-ferrous and precious metals, and content.

Precursors are the main raw materials for cathode materials, which are key components of secondary batteries. They significantly affect the performance and cost of secondary batteries. Starting with the precursor supply to L&F, Pino plans to gradually expand its supply to major global secondary battery companies, including European battery manufacturers.

A Pino representative said, “This is the first achievement accomplished in a short time after launching a new business related to secondary batteries. We will strive to secure a smooth product supply chain based on the active support of our shareholders and cooperation with L&F.” He added, “Starting with this agreement, we plan to actively invest in building a value chain related to secondary battery precursors and expanding our business.”
