Collaboration between Korea Deloitte Group and E-learning·Offline Practice
The Small and Medium Business Corporation announced on the 8th that it is recruiting participants for the ‘CBAM Response Capability Enhancement Practical Training’ to strengthen the ability of small and medium enterprises to respond to the EU Carbon Border Adjustment Mechanism (CBAM).
This training is a follow-up to the ‘EU CBAM Response Strategy’ e-learning course released last July and was promoted in collaboration with Deloitte Korea Group to assist small and medium-sized manufacturing enterprises struggling with EU CBAM response.
The training application target is employees of small and medium enterprises who have completed the ‘EU CBAM Response Strategy’ e-learning course, with priority given to employees of manufacturing SMEs.
The main training contents include four courses: ▲Setting up a virtual business site for practice ▲Methods for calculating CBAM carbon emissions ▲How to fill out the CBAM template ▲Review of CBAM emission calculation and template completion.
The Small and Medium Business Corporation plans to enhance the practical experience by allowing participants to directly practice emission calculation and template completion based on the virtual business site, thereby contributing to the substantial improvement of CBAM response capabilities for SME practitioners.
Applications for the CBAM Response Capability Enhancement Practical Training can be submitted from the 9th via the application link on the Small and Medium Business Corporation’s ESG integrated platform. Kang Seok-jin, Director of the Small and Medium Business Corporation, said, “This practical training will play an important role in helping SMEs understand the complexity of the EU CBAM and develop their response capabilities,” adding, “We will continue to prepare various support programs so that SMEs can build the capacity to respond to global environmental regulations.”
