Exploring New Investment Support and Cooperation Plans
"It Will Be an Opportunity to Open a New Chapter"
The American Chamber of Commerce in Korea (AMCHAM) announced on the 6th that it signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) with Hwaseong City, Gyeonggi Province, to strengthen economic cooperation and expand investment opportunities between AMCHAM member companies and Hwaseong City.

Accordingly, both parties plan to explore ways to support economic cooperation and attract new investments from AMCHAM member companies within Hwaseong City, sponsor events organized by AMCHAM, and foster collaboration between AMCHAM member companies entering the Korean market and local companies in Hwaseong. James Kim, Chairman and CEO of AMCHAM, stated, "This MOU marks a new chapter between AMCHAM and Hwaseong City, focusing on attracting investment and expanding business for American companies in the region." He added, "Based on Hwaseong City's strong infrastructure and innovation strategies, it will provide exciting opportunities for companies from both Korea and the United States." Hwaseong Mayor Jeong Myeong-geun said, "We hope this agreement will lead to mutual growth for both Hwaseong City and AMCHAM," and added, "Through continuous cooperation between the two organizations, we hope Hwaseong City will become a land of opportunity for American companies, and we will provide unwavering support."
