Four National Universities in Busan Unite for 'Dormitories Where Students Want to Stay'

National universities in the Busan area have joined forces to create dormitories where students want to stay.

The dormitories of four national universities?Pukyong National University, Busan National University, Busan National University of Education, and Korea Maritime and Ocean University?signed an agreement on June 5 at Sejong Hall 2 of Pukyong National University regarding the operation of a collaborative system for university dormitories in the Busan area.

The heads of each university dormitory agreed to work together to create a stable and high-quality residential environment for young people in Busan, attract outstanding local youth talent, encourage the relocation of young people from other regions, and lay the foundation for revitalizing the local economy.

Accordingly, the dormitories of each university will discuss solutions to difficulties faced by each institution in operating their dormitories, share best practices for dormitory users, exchange various types of information, and establish a network to respond to common issues.

To this end, the "Busan Area University Dormitory Council," with participation from the four university dormitories, was established on this day, and they plan to hold working-level meetings and continue efforts for dormitory operations.
