Gyeonggi Province will hold the "Gyeonggi-do Human Rights Festa," a cultural commemorative event for a human rights community that anyone can participate in, enjoy, and share together, at the Suwon Convention Center on the 13th.
This event, organized to commemorate the 76th anniversary of the Universal Declaration of Human Rights and the 11th anniversary of the introduction of human rights administration in Gyeonggi Province, will feature a variety of programs including human rights lectures and talks with notable figures, cultural and artistic performances, experiences, and exhibitions.
First, the human rights lecture and talk event with notable figures will include Professor Jeong Heewon of the Department of Geriatrics at Seoul Asan Hospital (Habits of Aging Slowly) and lawyer Cheon Jeonga, a star instructor in the human rights field (Special Lecture on Human Rights Law by a Lawyer).
Additionally, various human rights experience events will be prepared, such as ▲Cup Garden Making ▲Exhibition of Award-Winning Works from the Human Rights Art Contest ▲Human Rights Photo Zone ▲Human Rights Wish Message Tree Zone.
Masunheung, the Human Rights Officer of Gyeonggi Province, stated, "We have prepared a time to concretely think about and practice the abstract concept of human rights through diverse experiential events."
