Forum Held on the 5th... Technology Solutions in the Energy Transition Sector Revealed
Samsung E&A held a forum to inform customers about its business roadmap related to energy transition and announced its intention to transform into an energy solutions company. The company plans to accelerate its business to build an energy transition ecosystem.

On the 5th, Samsung E&A announced that it held the 'Future Energy Communication Platform' E&Able Tech Forum at its headquarters' Global Engineering Center (GEC) in Sangil-dong, Gangdong-gu, Seoul. 'E&Able' signifies future business made possible (able) by the technologies Samsung E&A possesses. The event was attended by about 250 people, including Namgung Hong, President of Samsung E&A, global partners in the energy transition field, domestic and international clients, universities, and venture capital firms.
The forum, held for the first time this year, was organized to inform potential customers about the technology solutions and roadmap Samsung E&A is investing in and developing amid the accelerating era of energy transition. New business opportunities were explored together with participating companies.
The forum's theme was 'Creating an Ecosystem to Enable a Sustainable Future.' The event featured an opening address by President Namgung and a presentation on the 'Energy Transition Technology Roadmap' by Vice President Park Cheonhong.
In the energy transition technology roadmap unveiled that day, Samsung E&A presented its vision to become an energy solutions company centered on three pillars: E&Able Low (low carbon), E&Able Zero (carbon-free), and E&Able Circle (environment).
The main event, consisting of technology presentations and panel discussions, featured experts in various fields presenting and debating seven major technology solutions in energy transition and environmental sectors, including carbon capture, blue hydrogen, green hydrogen, E-Fuel, organic waste treatment, and wastewater reuse.
President Namgung stated, "Starting with this forum, we will continuously create platforms for exchange and cooperation in the energy solutions field and take the lead in building a sustainable future."
