Dongil Social Welfare Foundation Donates 20 Million Won for Chuseok Neighbor Support to Gijang County

"Wishing the Vulnerable a Warm Chuseok Holiday"

Gijang-gun, Busan (Governor Jung Jongbok) announced on the 5th that on the 4th, the Social Welfare Foundation Dongil (Chairman Kim Jonggak) donated 20 million KRW to support neighbors in need in celebration of Chuseok, a traditional Korean holiday.

Dongil Co., Ltd., a local construction company, has been continuously engaged in sharing activities for the local community, such as supporting vulnerable groups, scholarship projects, and housing environment improvement projects. Since establishing the Social Welfare Foundation Dongil in 2015, the company has actively carried out social contribution activities.

Kim Eunsu, CEO of Dongil Suite Co., Ltd., said, "As prices for daily necessities continue to rise, we hope that our small act of sharing as a company will help vulnerable families have a warm Chuseok holiday," and promised, "We will continue our sharing activities for neighbors in need in the region."

In response, Jung Jongbok, Governor of Gijang-gun, expressed gratitude, saying, "Thank you for donating such a meaningful fund to our county for Chuseok, a traditional holiday. We will make sure it is delivered well so that residents facing difficulties can enjoy a warm holiday."
