Additional Inspection Meeting Held Immediately After National Agency Heads Meeting

Minister Kim said, "Swift response is crucial in large-scale collective wage arrears," urging strict investigations and prompt restoration of rights for affected workers. He also stated, "We will support livelihood stability to the end through advance payments, living expense loans, and job placement services."
The Ministry of Employment and Labor has been operating a response team targeting Qoo10 affiliates since last month. In this process, one Qoo10 affiliate fully paid the July wage arrears amounting to 950 million KRW. They also announced that last month's wages will be paid soon.
After the inspection meeting that day, the Ministry held a separate 'Headquarters-Regional Office Consultative Body' meeting, where the working-level team discussed prompt investigations and support measures for the victims.
