North Korea has once again sent trash balloons toward the South.
The Joint Chiefs of Staff announced on the 4th that North Korea is once again releasing objects presumed to be trash balloons aimed at South Korea.
The Joint Chiefs stated, "Depending on changes in wind direction, there is a possibility that the balloons may move toward the northern Gyeonggi region," and added, "Be cautious of falling payloads, and if you find any fallen balloons, do not touch them and report to the nearest military unit or police station."
This is the first time since the 10th of last month that North Korea has released trash balloons toward the South. At that time, out of approximately 240 identified balloons, about 10 fell in our area.
