Webzen Begins Pre-Registration for New Title 'Yonggwa Jeonsa'

Webzen announced on the 4th that it has started pre-registration for its new MMORPG (Massively Multiplayer Online Role-Playing Game) "Yonggwa Jeonsa" (Dragon and Warrior).

This game is a mobile and PC cross-platform MMORPG emphasizing fairy-tale style animation and visual graphic effects. It depicts the journey of a protagonist who gains powerful abilities in the human world "Midgard," devastated by an evil dragon after the war of the gods, as they rebuild destroyed villages and uncover hidden secrets.

It features typical MMORPG elements such as competitive and cooperative content and character development systems, combined with a "tycoon"-style housing system for village reconstruction and life content including fishing.

Webzen provides information on how to pre-register, participation rewards, and event benefits through the brand homepage of "Yonggwa Jeonsa," scheduled for domestic release in the second half of this year.

Members who apply via the official homepage or the pre-registration application (app) will receive various rewards after the game’s launch, including "Mimir’s Spring Water" needed to summon fairies, "Essence of Nature" required for fairy talent development, "Fairy Experience Potion," and crystals that can be used to obtain the Webzen Friends character "Muda" fairy.

Pre-registration is also available through the Google Play Store and Kakao Games channel.

During the pre-registration period, various events to activate the community will be held. Participants who pre-register on the official community and submit screenshot proof, write expectations, or participate in the worldview quiz event will be entered into a draw to win a 5,000 KRW Google gift card for each event.

Webzen plans to sequentially release detailed game information and service schedules for "Yonggwa Jeonsa" going forward.
