S-OIL New Production Employees Participate in Various Volunteer Activities Including Cleanup at Mokdo Beach in Ulju-gun

Cleanup Activities Along Mokdo in Ulju County and Plogging at Taehwa River National Garden

On the 4th, S-OIL carried out volunteer activities at Mokdo Beach in Ulju-gun and Taehwagang National Garden, with 107 new production employees for the second half of 2024 participating.


In the morning, S-OIL held the "Adopted Beach Care Campaign" at the beach near Mokdo in Onsan-eup, Ulju-gun, which was the first "Adopted Beach" designated by S-OIL in Ulsan.

With support from the Ulsan Volunteer Center, participants collected coastal waste such as discarded plastics, abandoned fishing nets, and fishing gear, and conducted a campaign encouraging anglers to take their trash with them.


In the afternoon, basic volunteer training was provided, including the proper attitude of a volunteer. Participants then moved to Taehwagang National Garden, where they joined a university student volunteer group recruited by the Ulsan Volunteer Center for a plogging activity to pick up litter.

S-OIL hired 103 new production employees in the first half of 2024, and an additional 107 in the second half, bringing the total number of new production employees hired in 2024 to 210. From the time of joining the company, new employees practice the company's core value of sharing through social contribution activities, enhancing their understanding of the local community and neighbors.


In addition to the "Adopted Beach" campaign for marine ecosystem conservation, S-OIL is conducting five annual underwater waste and sediment collection projects at ports and harbors in Ulsan, so that citizens and fishermen can enjoy a clean sea environment.
