A story has been shared about a store owner who suffered losses after a customer who ordered pizza from two different locations only paid for the pizza that arrived first.

Recently, on social media, a story was posted by Mr. A, who runs a chicken and pizza franchise store in Jeonju, Jeollabuk-do. Mr. A began, "It was a rainy weekend when the delivery driver went out but came back with the food." He explained the situation, saying, "The driver said, 'I went to deliver, but they were already eating the chicken and pizza.'

Feeling sorry for the driver who returned soaking wet with the food, Mr. A immediately called the customer. However, the customer refused to pay, saying, "I don't live in Jeonju. I'm currently hiking."

It turned out that the customer had placed the same order at another branch and only paid for the delivery that arrived first. Mr. A complained, "They neither paid for nor accepted the order from our store and sent it back. After that, no matter how many times I called, they refused and avoided contact. I was very angry." Mr. A then contacted the delivery app's customer center to report the situation, but the app responded, "We cannot reach the customer," and took no further action.

In response, Mr. A reported the customer for business obstruction. He sent a message to the customer saying, "After preparing the food and going for delivery, I contacted the customer center because you said you did not order, but they confirmed that a valid order was placed under your customer ID." He added, "If you had explained the situation over the phone, we might have understood to some extent, but since you are avoiding calls from both the store and the delivery app, we cannot bear the loss of the food cost. We will be reporting this as a false or prank order to the authorities."

Netizens responded with comments such as, "People live so conveniently these days," "Never run a restaurant in Korea," "Shouldn't the delivery platform do something about this?" "I run a store too, and I lose faith in humanity every day," "The importance of family education," "They were eating pizza but claim to be hiking?" "Just reading this makes me angry," "Go to the nearest police station and report it quickly," and "Maybe it's the heat, but there are a lot of strange people."
