Since its establishment in 2020, Jeonbuk National University College of Pharmacy has strengthened its research capabilities by being selected in its inaugural year for the 'Advanced Food and Pharmaceutical Material Industrialization' project worth 6.8 billion KRW. In 2022, it was also selected for the 'Pharmaceutical Industry Future Talent Training Center' project worth 18 billion KRW, laying an important foundation for nurturing talent to lead the future of the pharmaceutical industry.

Dean Bae Eunju stated, "Our College of Pharmacy, which has achieved remarkable results in a short period since its founding, has solidified its educational and research environment with the opening of the Pharmacy Building. This will serve as a major stepping stone for Jeonbuk National University College of Pharmacy to establish itself as the center of the future pharmaceutical industry."

President Yang Obong said, "Once the Korea Basic Science Research Support Center relocates within a few years, pharmaceutical education and research will be conducted in a wider and more stable space. I hope that all members of the College of Pharmacy family will strive so that Jeonbuk National University can soar as a world-class flagship university leading regional development through innovative research and education."
