Wando County, Police, and Green Mothers' Association Distribute Promotional Materials with New Education Director Lee Cheol-young
Wando Office of Education announced that on the 2nd, it conducted the '2nd Semester Traffic Safety Campaign' at the main gate of Wando Elementary School together with Wando County, Wando Police Station, and members of the Green Mothers' Association.
During the campaign, safety guidelines such as ▲prohibition of using cell phones while walking ▲wearing helmets when riding bicycles ▲using crosswalks were provided. Additionally, the campaign promoted safety measures for students to local residents, including reducing speed in school zones and prohibiting illegal parking.

Lee Cheol-young, the newly appointed superintendent, participated by personally welcoming students going to school and distributing safety promotional materials along with the staff upon his appointment.
Seo Won-hoo, a student at Wando Elementary School, said, “Although efforts have been made for safety so far, seeing the traffic safety campaign made me once again aware of the importance of safety.”
Superintendent Lee Cheol-young stated, “Education and preventive activities for a safe school life are of utmost importance,” and added, “We will devise various support measures to ensure the safe school life of students in Wando.”
