Haman Volunteer Center Holds Basic Training for Volunteers

The Haman-gun Volunteer Center in Gyeongnam conducted basic volunteer training on the 2nd for volunteers participating in the 105th National Sports Festival and the 44th National Para Games, which will be held in October.

This training was organized by the Gyeongsangnam-do Volunteer Center as part of a tour of cities and counties in the province. It was conducted in the order of an overview of the National (Para) Sports Festival, human rights education for volunteers, and kindness training for volunteers, aiming to support the smooth operation of the events and help volunteers fulfill their roles.

The volunteers who completed the training that day will be assigned to three sports across four venues, and they pledged to do their utmost to ensure the successful hosting of the events and to make the National Sports Festival shine even brighter.

Yoo Wonju, head of the Haman-gun Volunteer Center (Director of the County Welfare Policy Division), stated, "Through this basic volunteer training, I am confident that the volunteers participating in the events will be equipped with the necessary knowledge and skills, and that the events will proceed smoothly based on their efforts and passion."

Meanwhile, the 105th National Sports Festival will be held from October 11 to 17, and the 44th National Para Games will take place from October 25 to 30. In Haman-gun, women's football, wrestling, and para-equestrian events will be held.
