Award for Exemplary and Outstanding Civil Complaint Handling Departments
Changnyeong County, Gyeongnam, held an awards ceremony on the 2nd at the small theater of the Changnyeong Culture and Arts Center to recognize outstanding departments and public officials in civil complaint processing for the first half of the year.
The awards were divided into two categories: Civil Complaint Processing Mileage and National Sinmungo. Outstanding departments and public officials were selected for each half-year period based on detailed evaluation criteria such as complaint processing reduction rates and response quality.
In the Civil Complaint Processing Mileage category, Changnyeong-eup was selected as the top department, while Namji-eup and the Job Economy Division received the Excellence Award and Encouragement Award, respectively. For outstanding public officials in the simple civil complaint category, Heo Jiyoon was selected as the top official, Shin Hyebin received the Excellence Award, and Sung Kahyun received the Encouragement Award. In the complex civil complaint category, Lee Junho was selected as the top official, Shim Sunyoung received the Excellence Award, and Lee Moonhee received the Encouragement Award.
In the National Sinmungo category, Lee Sangwon was selected as the top official, Yoon Heedo received the Excellence Award, and Kim Junbeom received the Encouragement Award.
At the ceremony, the outstanding departments and public officials were awarded certificates along with prize money: 500,000 KRW for the top award, 300,000 KRW for the excellence award, and 200,000 KRW for the encouragement award.
County Governor Sung Nakin stated, "While the speed of civil complaint processing is important, we will also strive to resolve residents' inconveniences in advance before complaints arise," and added, "We will continue to provide strong support to boost the morale of outstanding staff in civil service administration."
