Hamyang County Holds Export Shipment Ceremony for Agricultural Products to The Face Shop in Los Angeles, USA

22 Items Including Processed Wild Ginseng and Yeoju Pills Shipped for Second Export This Year, Worth $760,000

Hamyang County in Gyeongnam announced on the 3rd that a shipment ceremony was held in Anui-myeon for exporting Hamyang agricultural products to Los Angeles, USA, with 15 export-related officials including County Governor Jin Byeongyeong and Hamyang County Council Chairman Kim Yuntaek in attendance.

The products shipped on this day include processed wild ginseng products, bitter melon pills, balloon flower syrup, juice products, Cheonggukjang powder, pure ginger extract, and bugak, totaling 22 types of agricultural products from 9 companies, worth 760,000 dollars. These products will be sold at the Hamyang County Face Shop located inside Galleria Department Store in Los Angeles.

The nine companies participating in this export are: Hamyang Wild Ginseng, Jisan Food, Jirisan Honghwain, Jeonggane Food, Jin&Jin Food, The Farmer, Yongchugol Doenjang House, Jirisan Dawon, and Jirisan Macheon Nonghyup.

Governor Jin Byeongyeong stated, "The continuous cooperation between Hamyang County, the Hamyang Agricultural Products Export Promotion Association, and the Hamyang County Face Shop has led to this export shipment by constantly striving to expand export channels," adding, "Going forward, we will pursue customized marketing strategies tailored to trends in each country to further vitalize exports of Hamyang agricultural products and increase the income of exporting companies."

Meanwhile, since 2016, Hamyang County has been operating the Hamyang County Face Shop in Los Angeles for eight years, continuously discovering new export items and achieving steady annual exports of over 600 million KRW. This shipment marks the second export this year, following the export of 10 items worth 160,000 dollars in May.
