The Korea Student Aid Foundation (Chairman Bae Byungil) signed a memorandum of understanding (MOU) with the Korea Radioactive Waste Agency (Chairman Cho Seongdon) on the 2nd to enhance expertise in human rights and ethical management and to promote a culture of integrity.
This MOU was pursued to strengthen the professionalism of human rights and ethical management tasks and to spread a culture of integrity in each organization through mutual exchange of expertise and strengths in the field of human rights and ethical management possessed by each institution.
The main contents include information exchange for the enhancement and mutual complement of expertise in human rights and ethical management, mutual cooperation for establishing anti-corruption and a culture of integrity, and mutual cooperation for realizing people-centered human rights management.
Bae Byungil, Chairman of the Korea Student Aid Foundation, stated, "Integrity and ethical management go beyond mere compliance with regulations; it is about every member of the organization acting with honesty and trust in their daily lives." He added, "Through this agreement, we will further spread ethical standards and a culture of integrity, strengthen trust with stakeholders, and become an institution trusted by the public."
