[Featured Stock] 'Kosdaq Value-Up No.1' FnGuide Surpasses 10,000 Won After 30 Months

As of 9:25 AM on the 2nd, FnGuide's stock is trading at 10,400 KRW, up 7.66% (740 KRW) from the previous trading day. This is the first time FnGuide's stock price has surpassed 10,000 KRW since February 8, 2022 (intraday high of 10,200 KRW). FnGuide's rally has continued after surpassing its previous 52-week high of 9,120 KRW set on June 24.

FnGuide, a financial information company, was the first to initiate a 'value-up disclosure' in the KOSDAQ market last May. It announced goals of achieving an 18% return on equity (ROE), a 15% average annual sales growth rate, and setting a minimum dividend with plans for mid- to long-term increases within the next five years. To achieve these targets, the company plans to expand B2C (business-to-consumer) services, strengthen index capabilities, establish a retirement pension division, and increase the use of artificial intelligence. Additionally, it will enhance communication with investors and implement shareholder-friendly policies by increasing dividends.

After the value-up disclosure, FnGuide's stock price soared but then showed sluggish movement for a while. It fluctuated within the 7,000 to 8,000 KRW range for several months before breaking through the 9,000 KRW level on the 27th of last month, setting a new 52-week high and continuing its upward trend. Its performance is also on the rise. According to this year's semi-annual report, sales reached 15.7 billion KRW and operating profit was 3.3 billion KRW, representing increases of 12.50% and 31.80%, respectively, compared to the previous year.
