Jinju City, Final Selection for Next Year's Resident Participatory Budget Proposal Projects The Resident Participation Budget Committee is being held in the Citizen Hall of Jinju City Hall for the final selection of the 2025 Resident Participation Budget Contest Projects.

For projects deemed eligible by the departments, the Participatory Budget Local Residents' Meetings in each town and neighborhood, as well as the city’s subcommittees, evaluated the necessity, urgency, and public value of each project based on specific assessment criteria, and selected the first round of priority projects.

The projects selected in the first round underwent a second review by the Operations Committee on August 8 and a final review by the full Residents' Participatory Budget Committee, resulting in the final selection of 64 projects, including the “Installation of Safety Railings on the Access Road to Modeok Sports Park.” Among the selected projects, there is also one new type of project designed to ensure the participation and rights of children and youth.

The projects finally selected by the Residents' Participatory Budget Committee will be reflected in next year's main budget proposal, confirmed after the city council's budget deliberation, and implemented in 2025.
