On the 1st (local time), at East Lake Golf Club (par 71, 7,490 yards) in Atlanta, Georgia, USA, Im finished 7-under-par 64 in the final round of the third and final stage of the 2024 FedEx Cup Playoffs (PO) Tour Championship on the PGA Tour, securing 7th place (18-under-par). This marks his second top-10 finish since tying for 2nd place at the Tour Championship in August 2022. Although he has not won this year, he has appeared in 24 tournaments and finished in the top 10 eight times. He had a meaningful season by qualifying for the Tour Championship for six consecutive years since 2019.

Starting from a tie for 10th place, Im collected one eagle and six birdies (with one bogey). He showed a steep upward trend by reducing five strokes in the first eight holes, including his first birdie at the 2nd hole (par 3), back-to-back birdies at the 6th and 7th holes, and an eagle with a 'one-on, one-putt' at the 8th hole (par 4, 324 yards). After a brief pause with a bogey at the 9th hole (par 3), he finished the round with three birdies at the 14th, 16th, and 17th holes. He relied on a maximum drive of 341 yards, a fairway hit rate of 64.29%, and 1.46 putts per green in regulation as his driving forces.
