As the activities of the Top 7 from 'Mr. Trot' Season 1, which ushered in the golden age of trot, stand out everywhere, attention is focusing on the auction fever that generates cash flow from the 'hard work' of my favorite singers.

Following Youngtak’s ‘Kkondae Latte’ auction, Musicow opened Lee Chan-won’s ‘Ttak! Pul’ auction consecutively, explaining this event as "part of the ‘Special Auction’ held ahead of the 1st anniversary of music revenue securities, featuring special auctions with high copyright royalty yields over the past year based on the auction starting price."

Youngtak’s ‘Kkondae Latte’ auction opened at noon on the 22nd and sold out all 5,000 shares. ‘Kkondae Latte,’ which predicted a nonstop schedule from the release of a concert live film to a new album and a Chuseok special show, was released as an OST for a drama aired in 2020 and gained popularity. It is a song continuously loved through covers by junior singers.

Following the sell-out of the ‘Kkondae Latte’ auction, investors’ interest was concentrated on Lee Chan-won’s ‘Ttak! Pul’ auction, which started on the 29th. Fans who regard copyrights as special goods also showed a heated response as news of the auction spread.

The reason why the music securities auctions of Youngtak and Lee Chan-won are attracting attention is that they are currently trot stars as hot as idol singers. TV Chosun’s ‘Mr. Trot’ Season 1, aired in 2020, established a fandom culture comparable to idols in the trot world and led trot to the center of the music industry.

Even after the broadcast, the fandom of the ‘Mr. Trot’ Season 1 Top 7 (Lim Young-woong, Youngtak, Lee Chan-won, Kim Ho-joong, Jung Dong-won, Jang Min-ho, Kim Hee-jae) has continued full support so that their ‘favorite’ singers can achieve good results in external activities. Empowered by strong fandom support, the Top 7 are actively thriving in various fields including their main careers.

Based on their powerful fandom, they are sweeping various box office indicators and charts. In July, Youngtak and Lee Chan-won ranked 2nd and 3rd respectively following 1st place Lim Young-woong in the trot singer brand reputation rankings. They have also consistently held 2nd and 3rd places in the ‘Trot Singer Trend Index,’ calculated based on Google Trends and Naver search volume, demonstrating their formidable influence.

Recently, the two singers announced their solo TV shows for the Chuseok holiday, drawing attention once again to their box office power. Youngtak is scheduled to deliver cheerful energy to viewers through TV Chosun’s ‘Youngtak Show’ on the 16th, while Lee Chan-won is set to present a new stage with ‘Lee Chan-won’s Gift’ on KBS 2TV on the 17th. It is known that they prepared touching stages with special guests, exciting their fans.

Proving this interest, Musicow stated that Youngtak’s ‘Kkondae Latte’ auction recorded a participation rate of 129%, with all 5,000 shares sold, concluding successfully. Accordingly, the auction of trot prince Lee Chan-won’s ‘Ttak! Pul,’ which shows a decalcomania-like trajectory, is also attracting attention regarding its success.

‘Ttak! Pul’ is a song Lee Chan-won performed in the finals of Mr. Trot. It is especially meaningful to fans as it was selected as ‘Beauty (Mi)’ through this song and is also the first song released under Lee Chan-won’s name. Included in the setlist of Lee Chan-won’s nationwide tour concert ‘Changa’ scheduled until November, it is loved once again by fans. The live stage video with a performance as entertaining as the song has surpassed 3 million views, showing steady popularity. Lee Chan-won’s ‘Ttak! Pul’ auction runs until the 4th, with 4,271 shares planned for recruitment. If all shares are sold at the upper limit price, the auction will close early.

A Musicow official explained, "Analyzing the distribution trends of copyright royalties over the past year disclosed on the platform, we confirmed that the average copyright royalties in January, April, July, and October, when YouTube copyright royalties occur, are about 18 times higher than the average of other months."

Beyond the music industry, these two singers are showing top performances across broadcasting, concerts, and theaters, and all eyes are on whether they can achieve parallel success in the investment market as well.
