Uiryeong County in Gyeongnam announced on the 2nd that the main poster for the 3rd Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival was unveiled on the 30th of last month.

If last year’s festival poster was a “mild flavor” expressed with gold, silver, and treasures inside Sotbawi Rock and the crane symbolizing luck, this year’s festival poster is described as “spicy.”

The poster for the 3rd Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival focused on “shock” and “freshness” to attract nationwide attention. In particular, it was designed with a fun and interesting concept to capture the interest of the MZ generation, who are shaping Korean culture. In addition, it visually presents the rules of wealth that are noteworthy for “active seniors” who enjoy consumption and leisure after retirement.

The county stated that the poster was designed to help people easily and kindly understand the nature of the Rich Rich Festival.

This year’s festival poster focuses not on the “legend of Sotbawi Rock,” which requires “learning,” but on “intuition,” revealing the secret to becoming a “real rich person” to anyone who comes to the festival with a “ticket to Uiryeong.”

The poster features seven tickets, each inscribed with one of the seven rules of wealth: sharing, trust, challenge, conviction, rest, humility, and good consumption, welcoming visitors to the festival.

The county sees this year’s Rich Rich Festival as a golden opportunity to expand the event into a nationwide festival. For this reason, Kim Kijeong, who has led major Korean festivals such as the Geumsan World Ginseng Expo and the Boryeong Mud Festival for 15 years, has been recruited as the general director.

The Uiryeong Rich Rich Festival won the bronze prize in the festival management category at the 17th Pinnacle Awards Korea, known as the “festival Olympics,” last year, and received the highest S grade in the Gyeongnam Province regional specialized festival support project.

Meanwhile, Uiryeong County has set the 2024 Rich Rich Festival slogan as “Become Rich in Uiryeong.” As visitors tour the festival, the “rules of wealth” that can make anyone a happy rich person will be revealed at this year’s event.

In particular, the “Rich Theme Hall” is the highlight of this year’s festival. The theme hall will be filled with a variety of content that allows visitors to learn and enjoy the spirit of sharing, mindset, challenge, conviction, and rest of wealthy people, as well as education and experiences related to wealth.

The festival will open on October 3 and run until the 6th.
