Suspect in 'Sexual Exploitation Material Production' Found Dead After Falling from Apartment in His 30s

A man in his 30s died after falling from an apartment while police were tracking the whereabouts of a suspect involved in the production of sexual exploitation materials.

According to the Gyeonggi Northern Provincial Police Agency on the 1st, around 11 p.m. on the 31st of last month, a man in his 30s, identified as Mr. A, fell from the balcony of the 8th floor of an apartment in Wadong-dong, Paju-si, Gyeonggi Province. After receiving a report, the 119 emergency medical team was dispatched, but Mr. A was already in cardiac arrest and died after being transported to the hospital.

On that day, four police officers from one investigation team of the Paju Police Station were visiting Mr. A’s residence to confirm his whereabouts as part of an investigation into a sexual exploitation material case. The police rang the doorbell and knocked on the door of Mr. A’s residence but received no response. However, upon seeing Mr. A pacing on the 8th-floor balcony, the police reportedly called 119.

Mr. A stayed on the balcony for about 10 minutes, even moving to the neighbor’s balcony, but fell before the arrival of the 119 emergency team. The police are focusing on the possibility that Mr. A took his own life and are investigating the exact circumstances.
