Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, attended the integrated children's play culture festival 'Mapo Shinbi Playground' held at the Mapo Community Sports Center on the morning of the 31st to support the growing children.
'Mapo Shinbi Playground,' held as part of the 'Mapo District 2024 Local Culture and Arts Events and Festival Support Project,' is a festival designed to create an inclusive children's play culture without discrimination or separation based on disabilities or multicultural backgrounds.
On this day, about 1,000 local children and parents attended the event, enjoying various performances and hands-on activities.
In particular, the 'Children's Magic Show,' which marked the beginning and end of the performances, attracted great popularity by sparking children's curiosity with its spectacular visuals.
Park Gang-su, Mayor of Mapo District, said, "I hope that at Mapo Shinbi Playground, children gather without discrimination or separation based on disability or cultural background, enjoy various games, communicate, and create precious memories." He added, "Mapo District will strive to build a child-friendly city with the belief that a society where children are happy is an advanced society."
