Seongbuk Love Gift Certificates Issued for 18 Billion Won... '10% Discount Rate' Applied via Payback

Issued on the 3rd and 10th of next month... Up to 500,000 KRW purchase per person

Seongbuk-gu, Seoul (Mayor Lee Seung-ro) will issue 'Seongbuk Love Gift Certificates' worth 18 billion KRW to celebrate the Chuseok holiday.

The first issuance of 8 billion KRW will be available at 9 a.m. on the 3rd of next month, and the second issuance of 10 billion KRW at 9 a.m. on the 10th. Individuals can purchase up to 500,000 KRW per month, with a holding limit of 1.5 million KRW.

The gift certificates are issued with a 5% discount rate, but if used in September and October, 5% will be refunded as mobile gift certificates, effectively providing a 10% discount. The payback is on a first-come, first-served basis, and the certificates can be used at Seongbuk Love Gift Certificate affiliated stores within Seongbuk-gu.

Mayor Lee Seung-ro said, “I hope all residents fully enjoy the 10% benefit returning after a long time, and sincerely wish for a prosperous Chuseok for both residents and small business owners.”
