E-Land Retail (CEO Yoon Sungdae) announced on the 30th that, ahead of the holiday season, it is participating in the 'Companion Festival' and collaborating with the Small Enterprise and Market Service to host the 'Small Business Happiness Market' at each branch.
E-Land Retail is holding offline sales events at six locations nationwide (NC Haeundae, NC Songpa, NC Daejeon Yuseong, NewCore Outlet Pyeongchon, NewCore Outlet Incheon Nonhyeon, and Donga Department Store Shopping Branch), introducing outstanding products from local small and medium-sized companies and small business owners through various events, including prize giveaways.
Notably, NC Songpa will host the Happiness Market from September 6 to September 10, offering quality products made by small and medium-sized companies and small business owners?such as clothing, ceramics, jewelry, fresh flowers, knitting supplies, and vegan detergents?to consumers at reasonable prices.
On-site, various events will also be held, including participation in an airball event and prize giveaways upon submission of purchase receipts for Happiness Market products, as well as the distribution of gifts and gift certificates.
Through this flea market-style Happiness Market, E-Land Retail is accepting applications from small business owners wishing to sell and promote their products, aiming to boost participating companies' sales and support mutual growth by connecting them with consumers as part of the Companion Festival.
An E-Land Retail representative stated, "By participating in the September Companion Festival, we have created an opportunity for consumers to directly experience local small business products," and added, "Ahead of the Chuseok holiday, we hope to provide consumers with excellent local products and small business owners with opportunities for collaborative distribution, making it a prosperous holiday for everyone."
At the Daegu Donga Department Store and Shopping Branch, the event runs until September 1.
Meanwhile, the 'September Companion Festival,' hosted by the Ministry of SMEs and Startups, is an economic revitalization campaign in celebration of Chuseok, where families come together to express gratitude. The nationwide large-scale consumption festival is held to stimulate domestic demand, alleviate consumer burdens, and increase sales for small and medium-sized enterprises and small business owners.
