72% of All Candidates Pass... Oldest is 74 Years Old
The Jeonnam Provincial Office of Education announced on the 30th that the "2024 2nd Graduation Equivalency Examination Passers for Elementary, Middle, and High School" have been posted on the provincial education office website.
A total of 729 candidates took the exam, and 525 candidates, accounting for 72% of all examinees, passed the final exam.
For the elementary level, 35 out of 45 candidates passed, showing a pass rate of 77.7%. At the middle school level, 77 out of 102 candidates passed, a pass rate of 75.4%, and for the high school level exam, taken by 582 candidates, 413 passed, a pass rate of 70.9%.
The oldest passers by exam level were Im Mo (74, male) for elementary, Park Mo (70, male) for middle school, and Kim Mo (73, female) for high school. Certificates of passing will be sent individually by mail, and detailed information can be found on the provincial education office website.
Pass certificates, transcripts, and subject pass certificates can also be issued through the 'NEIS Public Service,' Government24, school administrative offices, education office civil service centers, and unmanned civil service issuance machines at administrative welfare centers.
