Oldest Elementary School Graduate at 76, Youngest at 11
Ulsan Metropolitan Office of Education (Superintendent Cheon Changsu) announced the results of the '2024 Second Elementary, Middle, and High School Equivalency Examination', with 362 successful candidates published on the office's website on the 30th.
In the second equivalency exam held on August 8, 502 out of 596 registered candidates took the test, and 362 passed. The pass rate was 72.11%.
By level, there were 20 successful candidates for elementary (90.91%), 52 for middle school (83.87%), and 290 for high school (69.38%). The highest scores were 95.83 points for elementary (2 candidates), and a perfect score of 100 for middle school (1 candidate) and high school (3 candidates).
The oldest successful candidates were Ms. Yoon (76 years old) for elementary, Ms. Baek (71 years old) for middle school, and Ms. Cho (75 years old) for high school. The youngest were Song (11 years old, male) for elementary, Kim (11 years old, male) for middle school, and Kim (15 years old, female) for high school.
The Ulsan Office of Education will distribute the certificates either by regular mail or in person, according to the method selected by each candidate after the announcement of the results.
Individual score inquiries can be checked on the Ulsan Office of Education's Ulsan Education Notification Service from the announcement date, the 30th, until the 13th of next month.
